This thriving city is surrounded by a multitude of beautiful lakes which offer great fishing, boating, and water recreation. Known for years as a “College Town” it has been home to the second largest University, Minnesota State, since 1868 and also is home to Bethany Lutheran College and South Central College. Mankato retains a small-town feel within a thriving infrastructure of businesses, parks and recreational sites. Homes can be found within neighborhood settings as well as rural properties with lands and farms.

From parks and shops to golf courses and trails to breweries and wineries, Mankato has activities for all ages. In the winter you can pass the time by ice fishing, snowshoeing across the many trails or hitting the slopes at nearby Mt. Kato for some excellent skiing.
