As 6th generation owner, Matthew has lead the Atwood Companies to tremendous growth and success becoming the #1 CENTURY 21 office and company in the state of Minnesota and in the top 50 companies in the United States. He has also lead the family's property management company, Atwood Management, to greater than 300% growth and expansion into new markets.

His passion for people and serving his agents and employees to ensure their success is what drives his motto "we can always do more together than we ever could apart."

Matthew serves on a number of boards including the United Way, where he serves as the campaign chair, Visit Mankato, where he serves on the executive board, and a non-profit dinner theatre he helped create - Mankato Playhouse, where he serves as vice-president.

Mostly, Matthew enjoys an active family life with baseball, basketball, fencing, lacrosse, gymnastics, competitive cheer, voice/piano/dance lessons, musical theatre performances and volunteering with his wife and three children.
