The City of Isle is a small port community located along the southeastern shores of famous Mille Lacs Lake. Only a 2-hour drive north of the Twin Cities. Isle is a lake lover's dream come true with great fishing and boating. ISLE HARBOR Township and Isle are named for their excellent harbor, partly enclosed and sheltered in storms by Malone Island.

Isle is a small, resort community with a number of campgrounds. It’s only 2.55 square miles and has around 750 people and a little over 500 homes. Residents enjoy a laid-back atmosphere in this close-knit community.

This area, locally known as the “Walleye Capital of the World” features one-of-a-kind restaurants, luxury resorts, and fun for everyone. Isle Lake View Park, located on the shores of Mille Lacs Lake has picnic tables, shelter, a swimming beach and fishing pier all overlooking spectacular Isle Bay.
